Samsung Access available through AT&T

While in Asian cellphones are standard equiped with mobile TV , people from U.S and Europe are watching this phones just in pictures . Looks like Samsung joins other brands that developed mobile Tv compatible cellphones and launched one in U.S , Samsung Access .

Samsung Access

Well known as SGH-A827, Samsung Access has a 2.3 inch screen, landscape format and DVD quality . The phone also has 3G dual-band, quad-band GSM , BlueTooth , microSD and a 1.3 megapixels camera with video recording . We don’t know the price for sure, but we know that will be launched starting with May through AT&T .

iPhone 3G launching Q2 of this year

Bank of America announced that Apple will launch a new version of iPhone and will be launched in Q2 of this year and we will have 8.000.000 pieces for start .This prediction basis on Scott Graig’s analysis , from Bank of America and he saw a raise on Apple auctions , and at AT&T , the network operator that distributes iPhone in U.S , also he said that the max raise will be in June when the production of iPhone 3G will start .

Apple or AT&T didn’t comment about this analysis even if Scott Graig affirmed the story.Apple will organize a developers conference in June and it’s the perfect time to test and launch the new iPhone toghether with the Firmware 2.0 for this phone . We know that Steve Jobs declared some months ago that he wants to sell over 10 millions of iPhone’s to the end of this year . Will that be true ? We will find out soon!

Double speed for EDGE

Nokia Siemens Networks announced yesterday that they managed to double the EDGE speed , making it 592 kbps, using a software application , that works in all EDGE compatible networks and phones .

This technology will be launched in Q3/2008 and we will see EGPRS 2 with speed over 1.2 Mbps from Nokia .  Still this aren’t super-connection speeds , but it’s a good news for iPhone users . Ari Lehtoranta , the chief of Radio Access from Nokia Siemens Networks afirms that until 2015 we will have broadband IP and over 5 bilions of people will be connected to the internet .

Nokia Siemens Networks technology is used in over 260 networks from 117 countries , offering services to over 1.5 bilions of people . This new feature is called Dual Carrier EDGE , maybe because it’s double than normal EDGE speed . After will be launched we will have mobile tv , and streaming live on phones .

BlackBerry 9000 comes in August

Research in Motion announced the launch of BlackBerry 9900 in August .

9XXX Series should come in May or June , but now it got delayed . The phone will be available with a AT&T contract for 6 months , in U.S . Looks like the 9XXX Series will be equiped with HSDPA support , a full QWERTY keyboard , a 480 x 320 pixels screen , GPS and Wi-Fi . We should see this phone’s prototype at CTIA 2008 .

New touchscreen from LG with flap and 5 megapixels camera

iPhone started the touchscreen age and looks like the people forgot phones with flap . Lg is ready to resolve this problem , including a touchscreen display on a flap phone , equiped with a 5 megapixels camera .

The name of this phone is LG OZ , a phone with flap that rotates and includes a 2.8 inch display and a huge resolution of 800 x 480 pixels . The photocamera has 5.1 megapixels and a 28 mm lens , color control , autofocus and image stabilizer . Mobile TV is another important feature and with DMB standard . Internal memory of this phone is 4 GB and even a microSD card support .  LG OZ measures 103 x 50 x 18.9mm and weights 122.5 grams , that makes it lighter than iPhone. LG OZ will be available first in Korea at £256 and then we hope all around the world.
